This Limited Warranty is sub ject to the fo llow ing conditions:

The product has not been misused, abused, neglected, altered, or
modified.
The product has not been serviced or repair ed by anyone other than a
Kress-authorized ser vice center.
Defect or damage to the product has not resulted from the use of
accessories or parts that ar e inappropriate for normal operation of the
tool, or that are not designed for use with the product.
The product has been subjected to reasonable and normal wear and tear
only.
The product has not been used for rental purposes except as part of a
rental program administered by a registered Kress dealer.
The product has not sustained damage through contact with foreign
objects, corrosive or otherwise damaging chemicals, or accid ents.
Kress products are warranted only to the original purchaser during the
Warranty Coverage Period in effect at the time o f purchase. Product warranties
are not tr ansferr able. The Warranty Coverage Period is pub lished by Kress
from time to time and is subject to change upon notice from Kress.
This Limited Warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear resulting from the use of the product.
Failur e to maintain the product in accord ance with operating
instr uctions.
Improper maintenance or handling of the product, includ ing overloading
the product.
Replacement of accessories or parts intended to wear out or be replaced
after their useful life, includ ing but not limited to blad es and bits,
trimmer line, chains, light bulbs, etc.
Rental of replacement equipment during the rep air per iod.
Freight and handling charg es for service parts.
Repairs performed by anyone other than a Kress-authorized service
center.
Lost business, lost p rofits, or other consequential damages.
