If travel is required, Kress will reimburse for mileage at the
current IRS/CRA mileage rate.
v. Goodwill
Goodwill is assistance provided to dealers to promote a
positive customer experience and maintain good customer
relations in partnership with our Kress dealer network when
there is no contractual obligation to do so, such as repairing
a product that is out-of-warranty, or one-off policy
adjustments. Goodwill assistance is primarily reserved for
repair or replacement costs of products after the Limited
Warranty has expired and is considered an extraordinary
remedy. The following are guidelines on how goodwill
assistance is intended to be administered:
1. Goodwill assistance is only available to the original
purchase.
2. Goodwill is only applicable for failures that would have
been covered under the terms of the Limited Warranty.
3. Kress dealers are our partners in business and as such we
share a common goal to appease our valued customers. As
such, Kress dealers will serve as the conduit for initiating
any goodwill requests from our consumers.
4. Goodwill requests should follow guidelines set forth in the
“Goodwill request” document.
5. All Goodwill requests are subject to approval by Kress
personnel at Kress’s sole discretion.
